Our client is a diversified global organization offering end-to-end solutions and operating across various sectors including education, agriculture, trading, engineering procurement and construction (EPC), energy, and mining. The group focuses on improving essential infrastructure in developing countries, by designing and managing projects such as roads, bridges, power plants, and water treatment facilities, actively engaging in renewable energy initiatives, and investing in solar power projects and wind energy farms.

They are looking to hire a Treasury Head where he/she will be responsible for centralized cash management, liquidity planning, funding strategy, and internal capital allocation across group entities.

The role acts as the financial nerve center of the family office, ensuring optimal use of capital, disciplined lending to group businesses, and robust treasury controls.

This is a hands-on, high-trust role requiring strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to operate directly with promoters and senior leadership, reporting to chairman

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the company's daily cash position, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs and investment opportunities.
  • Develop and implement financial forecasting models to guide the organization's strategic planning and budgeting processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Monitoring the treasury.
  • Ensure effective cash flow management by monitoring cash reserves and forecasting future financial liquidity needs.
  • Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure a smooth review.
  • Analyze cost structures and develop strategies to optimize operational efficiency and profitability across departments.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders, outlining financial performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; a masters degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as charted accountant
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience, preferably in family office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
