Responsibilities:

  • Own new item sell-in and throughout product life cycle (item setup, sell-through, forecasting, in-stock, pricing)
  • Ensure operational excellence through close collaboration with the Supply Chain team to maintain in-stock status on-site, optimize new fulfilment opportunities, plan for peak periods, and improve/eliminate chargebacks.
  • Develop and execute strategies to bring in prospect accounts and grow existing accounts to meet overall company plan and goals.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature and advertising
  • Develop and implement an E-commerce strategy to improve website performance
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to be a trusted business advisor to accounts
  • Solve issues and conduct activities based on SOPs and escalate any urgent or repeating problems to help the team identify a solution.
  • Build and analyze reports to help decision making.
  • Liaising with various internal teams to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Oversees the day-to-day e-commerce operations, maintenance, and performance measurement of the e-Commerce business. Uses a data-driven approach for analysis and decisions
  • Directly supervises team member and leads the cross-functional collaboration with IT, Marketing, Merchandising and Buying, Finance and Warehouse depts.
  • Develops business plan and annual budget for e-commerce. Monitors KPIs and moves/modifies to deliver the annual financial plan
  • Ability to manage a P&L or line of business with the ability to make the right decisions to drive success

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • An expert understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimization, and e-marketing strategy will be key to fulfilling the many functions of the job.

  • Have hands-on experience with eCommerce site and operations.

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate trends, results & strategy based on data analysis and present appropriate adjustments to marketing plans accordingly
  • Results-oriented: demonstrates a sense of urgency for overcoming obstacles and achieving measurable results; resourceful and driven; willing to get hands dirty and personally drive projects and timelines
  • Develop the marketing strategy across all digital channels including but not limited to email and mobile platforms. Ensure sales and margin goals are met
  • Strong experience in business planning and e-commerce strategy development and promoting collaboration and driving problem resolution across all levels of a business including the c-suite
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster a dynamic, team-orientated, results-driven environment
