Job Title: Head of Talent and Development

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Group Chief People Officer

Summary:

The Head of Talent and Development is responsible for the overall talent management strategy and the whole talent process for the group including all the business units in Myanmar. This includes developing and implementing training and development programs, managing the performance management process, and leading succession planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in a talent development role and will be able to work effectively with senior management to develop and implement talent strategies that align with the company's business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training and development programs that meet the needs of the company's employees

  • Manage the performance management process, including setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback

  • Lead succession planning efforts, identifying and developing high-potential employees

  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement talent strategies that align with the company's business goals

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or advanced degree related to Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field

  • 5+ years of managerial experience in a talent development role

  • Strong understanding of training and development principles and practices

  • Experience with performance management and succession planning

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • International experience is highly preferred

  • Fluency in the English language
