Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability
• Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools to support decision-making
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders
• Manage the company's capital structure, financing activities, and treasury operations
• Develop and implement effective risk management policies and procedures to protect the company's financial assets
• Provide financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory and tax exemption requirements
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors
• Lead the finance team and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred
• Familiarity with Lao PDR accounting regulation and tax law is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in senior finance roles, with a track record of success in strategic financial leadership and management
• Experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably in tower deployment or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and control processes
• Experience with debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Language: Fluent in English, native Bahasa Malaysia
• Open to relocating to Vientiane, Laos
