Purpose of the role:

This role is a key position within a newly created team responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across multi warehouse capability. It will play an important role in helping JD.ID warehouse a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages warehouse process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Manages plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
  • Manages quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
  • Manages implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
  • Manages the collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources for use in developing long-term quality strategy and programs.
  • Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures.
  • To identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking
  • To lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
  • To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and
  • elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways
  • To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery and have tight control manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience Quality and Process Improvement
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience from warehouse and manufacturing filed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in Quality, Operations or a technical field
  • ISO/AS Auditor certification preferred
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement (CI) experience preferred
  • Must have good experiences of People Management and Project Implementation
