Were a seed-stage startup building deeply technical SaaS used by more than one million engineers each year. Historically profitable due to strong product traction, we recently raised our first venture round from top-tier investors to expand our AI platform and scale adoption across the hardware and electronics ecosystem.

Our tools accelerate the design cycles of drones, EVs, IoT devices, VR systems, and more. With a massive dataset, a beloved platform, and a high-velocity roadmap, were entering a new stage of operational scale and were looking for a business operations leader who can help the company run faster, smoother, and smarter as we grow.

What Will You Do?

Finance & Revenue Operations

  • Oversee financial operations: payroll, budgeting, commissions, invoicing, expenses, and monthly variance analyses.

  • Manage quotes, agreements, invoicing (recurring + ad hoc), vendor setup, and payment reconciliation.

  • Maintain dashboards (e.g., bookings), update monthly forecasts, and run invoice/expense reviews.

  • Follow up on overdue payments via the aging report; manage PO and credit processes.

  • Administer equity via Carta.

  • Improve, automate, and scale GTM workflows (HubSpot, Sheets, Slides, etc.).

Recruiting & People Operations

  • Own full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, pipeline management, job postings, process rigor.

  • Train hiring managers and drive accountability across the interview loop.

  • Run onboarding, compliance, and internal enablement programs.

Systems & Strategic Execution

  • Automate workflows using low/no-code tools to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

  • Maintain company-wide documentation: Notion, SOPs, Google Drive.

  • Run the OKR/KPI process with the CEO: quarterly planning, progress tracking, accountability frameworks.

  • Manage SLAs across functions.

  • Own the legal contract process.

Office & General Operations

  • Manage vendors, insurance, renewals, and operational relationships.

  • Oversee daily office operations including supplies, mail, inventory, and facilities.

What Will You Need?

  • 3+ years in a highly cross-functional or operational role.

  • Recent experience at a VC-funded Seed or Series A startup (<100 people).

  • Experience at engineering or technical product companies.

  • Full-time, non-consulting role within the last year.

  • Hands-on experience in:

    • Finance operations (invoicing, expenses, payroll workflows)

    • Business operations (vendors, insurance, systems)

    • Executive operations (people, recruiting, OKRs, systems management)

  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and systems-thinking ability.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • A willingness to do the unglamorous work that keeps the engine running.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with QuickBooks.

Must Not Have

  • 3+ years at a large, slow-moving company in the most recent role.

  • More than two job changes within one year in the last five years.

  • Candidates planning to relocate or requiring remote-only work.

  • Experience only in non-VC-funded startups.

Unlikely to Hire

  • Candidates out of the workforce for 12+ months (role requires immediate ramp-up).
