The significant high-profile infrastructure projects include the new Hong Kong Airport, the Lantau Airport Railway, the Tsing Ma Bridge and Western Harbour Tunnel, Tseung Kwan O Extension, and West Rail.


About The Position

Report to the CEO & Singapore Management Team, to lead the business units of  Lamps & Lighting, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Building Services to grow the business portfolio of both the Government and Commercial sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead all sales divisions, managing team resources and manpower allocation to ensure optimal project alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain proactive, professional relationships with key industry stakeholders to drive business growth and brand presence.
  • End-to-End Solution Design: Develop customized business solutions and account configurations, maintaining high-level oversight from the tendering phase through to project delivery.
  • Commercial Management: Oversee tendering, estimation, contractor management, and project cost reviews; lead high-level pricing negotiations to ensure profitability.
  • Project Oversight: Represent the division in internal and external meetings, spanning design stages, site visits, and final delivery milestones.
  • Innovation & Standards: Implement strategic, innovative solutions that elevate industry standards, enhance productivity, and ensure rigorous safety compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal departments to execute and evaluate business development initiatives and strategic goals.
  • Ad Hoc Leadership: Execute additional projects or duties as directed by senior management.


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).
  • Experience: 5–8 years of engineering or manufacturing experience specifically within the E&M sectors.
  • Proven Track Record: A demonstrated history of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects.
  • Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and sustain long-term professional partnerships.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong research and analytical skills, with a focus on benchmarking and competitive comparison.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive and remain decisive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential.
