API Production Engineer | SFC Regulated Fintech | HK$30,000

our client is a leading algorithmic trading firm headquartered in the UK. The firm is regulated by the HKSFC, FCA, CIMA, and CTFC, and trusted liquidity, technology, and prime services partner to institutional clients and trading venues globally. They offer full-service prime brokerage and execution via its cutting-edge proprietary technology, as well as market-leading analytics, cleared through the groups' bank Prime Brokers.

Currently, they are hiring a junior API Production Engineer and reports to Head of Production in Hong Kong and the UK. The major focus will be to work closely with Senior Engineer to cover the Asia time zone technical support to its clients in the region.

About The Role

• Act as first tier support and provide API / Bridging application solutions to end-user client of Asia
• Troubleshoot problems and propose recommendations to resolve issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues
• Liaise with clients on various issues of deployment, bug fixing, and training
• Work with internal teams on the integration, configuration, and technical solution of the application
• Perform data mining, conduct data analytics, and compile statistical reports
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 years of experience in Programming / Development gained from the FX / Fintech / Financial Service industry
• Previous experience gained from client-facing roles is a must
• The ideal candidate is energetic and willing to learn new tech
• Strong communication skills & experience in client client-facing support role
• Good in both English and Mandarin
