About The Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, Finance of Asia, and managing all financial and accounting matters of Hong Kong and SEA offices. And acts as the primary contact with relevant external parties on financial and accounting matters.

Job Functions

• Oversee all finance and accounting matters of the regions, and ensure all activities comply with statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Maintain full sets of books and records.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts reports.
• Monitor bank balances manage surplus funds and liaise with bankers for Hong Kong and SEA offices.
• Communicate with internal departments of the Treasury and production sites for payment and settlement.
• Evaluate the credit line of new customers and recommend credit limits for the SEA market.
• Prepare the annual credit review for existing & new customers on a regular basis.
• Update and maintain Inventory Listing, prepare reports, and properly reconcile.
• Maintain VAT invoicing system and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Participate in all SOX testing cycles. Ensure business processes follow SOX and participate in all SOX testing cycles.
• Handle the lease accounting under IFRS16.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Professional accounting qualification in CPA / ACCA
• 5 years of working experience preferably in MNC with import/export activities
• Good knowledge of handling regional taxation and tariff aspects
• Good knowledge of foreign exchange control regulations
• Excellent in English and Chinese
