About The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Finance of Asia and to manage all financial and accounting matters of Hong Kong and SEA offices. Being the primary contact with external parties, and subject matter expert on Oracle ERP system. Ensuring that financial records and systems are maintained in a professional way that meets both the local statutory/regulatory requirements.
Job Functions
- Leading a team of 4, supervising and coordinating the month-end closing.
- Ensure all management reports (monthly, quarterly and yearly) are accurately prepared, consolidated and submitted timely to corporate finance team across SEA regions.
- Lead Credit Committee meetings to manage credit risk for the region and repare credit reports and recommend credit limits for all open term customers.
- Communicate with Corporate Tax and Accounting team for group tax accounting & reporting.
- Plan & co-ordinate for SOX testing and audit for the region.
- Review Regional inventory and SWAP adjustments.
- Prepare monthly revenue forecast; and actual vs budget variance analysis.
- Prepare the ARP or pricing report for management review.
- Review the profit margin % and ensure it is aligned with the transfer pricing policy
- Supervise and control the treasury activities for all Asia entities.
- Update and maintaining Inventory Listing, prepare reports, and properly is reconciled.
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting or finance
- Professional accounting qualification in CPA / ACCA
- 7 years of working experience preferably in MNC with import/export activities
- Good knowledge in handling regional taxation and tariff aspects
- Good knowledge in foreign exchange control regulations
- Excellent in English and Chinese
