About The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to drive growth in the power distribution product portfolio. This role targets professionals with established relationships across Hong Kong and Macau utilities (CLP, HKE, CEM), electrical contractors, switchboard manufacturers, industrial and commercial customers with electrical maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Account Management with Power utilities (CLP, HKE), Main contractors, electrical subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in Utility networks, Infrastructure and construction projects, Street lighting, and LV distribution systems
- Drive revenue growth across assigned product categories
- Servicing and maintenance of electrical PPE for utility and industrial customers
- Product Sales & Technical Support in promoting and selling Sicame product lines, including: Cut-outs, Resin straight joints and cable jointing solutions, Cable lugs, connectors, and termination systems
- Fault passage indicators (FPI)
- CATU electrical safety equipment (PPE, insulating tools, telescopic poles)
- Hydraulic crimping tools and installation equipment
- Provide technical advice on product selection, installation, and compliance
- Prepare quotations, technical submissions, and tender documentation
- Liaise with principals (e.g. Sicame) on specifications and approvals
- Ensure compliance with utility standards and project specifications
- Follow through from tender stage to order closure and delivery
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical / power distribution sales
- Proven track record working with utilities
- Established network with contractors, consultants, and utility engineers
- Understanding of LV and MV distribution systems, cable accessories (cut-outs, joints, lugs, connectors), electrical safety practices and tools, switchboard design and manufacturing
- Familiarity with utility specifications
