Accountant | E-Commerce | Kitchenware

Our client is a Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) enterprise with over 40 years of history in specializing in engaging in the research, development, manufacture, and sale of cookware and kitchen electric appliances worldwide.

Currently, our client is looking for a full spectrum of an Accountant reporting to the Hong Kong Management Team & China Group Financial Head, in managing the Hong Kong entity's Accounting & Finance function operations, month-end closing, budget & forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a full set of accounts independently
• Responsible for handling daily accounting operations, month-end closing activities & reconciliations
• Prepare vouchers, ledgers, financial statements, and cash flow statements
• Check and reconcile the accounting transactions to ensure accuracy
• Liaise with the auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities of Hong Kong & China
• Handle all aspects of the financial accounting functions, including statutory and financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, taxation, and treasury functions
• Provide full financial reports, analysis and information timely and accurately to senior management
• Review and update accounting policies and procedures whenever necessary
• Prepare Ad hoc reports and admin tasks as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in accounting
• Fluent in both spoken & written English & Mandarin
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
• Independent & mature personality in working closely with the senior management team
