WMS Consultant (Full Role)

About the Role

JGA is seeking an experienced WMS Consultant to support and deliver enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. This role will focus on implementation, configuration, testing, and support of Softeon or Manhattan WMS in fast-paced distribution and supply chain environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with deep operational understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, test, and support Softeon or Manhattan WMS solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.

• Support warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, and value-added services.

• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.

• Support WMS integrations with ERP, TMS, and other systems using APIs, EDI, or middleware.

• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and operational performance improvements.

• Participate in user training, UAT, go-live, and post-production support.

• Work cross-functionally with IT, operations, and external partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Softeon or Manhattan WMS (configuration, testing, support).

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and inventory management.

• Experience integrating WMS with ERP/TMS platforms using APIs, EDI, or middleware.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

• SQL experience for data extraction and reporting is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
