Position Overview

JGA is seeking a Senior Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration expertise and deep Labor Management experience. This role requires a senior-level configurator with proven cloud-native Manhattan Active WMS experience, including engineered labor standards, labor optimization, and extension development.

The consultant will lead solution design, advanced configuration, stabilization efforts, and continuous system optimization initiatives in fast-paced warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on configuration within Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM)

• Lead Labor Management configuration and optimization initiatives

• Configure work profiles, engineered labor standards, performance metrics, and reporting

• Implement task interleaving and labor performance tracking

• Build and support Manhattan Active WMS extensions

• Translate operational and engineering requirements into scalable MAWM configurations

• Identify configuration gaps and recommend proactive system improvements

• Support system stabilization and post-go-live optimization

• Provide guidance to engineering and operations leadership teams

• Develop documentation and implement best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Manhattan WMS experience

• 3+ years of Manhattan Active WMS (cloud-native) experience

• Demonstrated hands-on Labor Management configuration experience in MAWM

• Experience configuring engineered labor standards

• Experience building and supporting Manhattan Active extensions

• Strong understanding of warehouse execution processes including:

  • Inbound

  • Outbound

  • Picking

  • Replenishment

  • Task management

• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams and operational stakeholders

• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Ability to operate independently in dynamic environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-site deployment experience

• Experience supporting LMS redesign or re-implementation

• Retail or high-volume distribution center experience

• System stabilization and performance tuning expertise

Engagement Details

• Mostly remote engagement

• Occasional site visits may be required

• Long-term contract opportunity based on performance and business needs
