Position Summary

JGA is seeking an experienced Senior Manhattan Active TMS (MATM) Consultant to serve in a design advisory and solution leadership role for enterprise TMS implementations. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise with Manhattan Active TMS and the ability to guide customers strategically through design, configuration, and deployment.

This consultant will work directly with client stakeholders to ensure that system architecture and design decisions align with business goals and Manhattans best practices helping organizations maximize the value of their MATM investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted functional and design advisor throughout the Manhattan Active TMS (MATM) implementation lifecycle.

• Lead solution design workshops and blueprint sessions to align system capabilities with operational needs.

• Guide clients through best-practice architecture, configuration, and workflow decisions within MATM.

• Support all project phases including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Provide deep functional expertise across core MATM components such as:

  • Planning & Optimization

  • Execution & Carrier Management

  • Rating & Freight Settlement

  • Integration & Data Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ERP, WMS, Integration, and Network) to ensure end-to-end alignment.

• Provide advisory support during UAT, SIT, and Go-Live phases to ensure readiness and performance stability.

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal best-practice documentation.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and scalability across client transportation operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Transportation Management Systems, including 5+ years with Manhattan Active TMS (MATM).

• Proven experience in solution design and functional leadership within MATM implementations.

• Strong understanding of transportation execution, optimization, rating, and freight settlement processes.

• Hands-on experience integrating MATM with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and WMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Korber).

• Solid understanding of Manhattan Active Platform architecture (MAA, MIO, SCI).

• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Functional Lead on Manhattan Active programs.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery tools (Jira, ADO).

• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deliver within tight timelines.
