JGA Warehouse Systems Advisory Group is building out a focused Transportation Management capability to support ongoing client demand within the Manhattan ecosystem.

We are seeking experienced consultants with hands-on expertise in Manhattan Transportation Management (Active TM and/or legacy platforms) to support implementation and optimization efforts under a JGA-led delivery model.

This is a contract-based opportunity working on real client engagements. We are not a high-volume staffing firm and are specifically looking for individuals with proven delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support configuration and implementation of Manhattan TM
Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and client workshops
Support transportation planning functions including routing, carrier selection, rate management, and tendering
Collaborate on integration efforts including APIs, EDI, and system data flows
Work directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams (WMS, OMS, etc.)

Required Experience

Hands-on experience with Manhattan Transportation Management (Active TM preferred)
Experience participating in or leading at least one full implementation
Strong understanding of transportation operations and workflows
Ability to clearly articulate system functionality and business impact

Technical Role (if applicable)

Experience with system integrations (APIs, EDI, middleware)
Understanding of data flows across supply chain systems
Ability to troubleshoot and support technical design

Functional Role (if applicable)

Experience with configuration of routing, optimization, and execution workflows
Strong understanding of transportation planning and carrier management

What We Are Not Looking For

Resume-only experience without real implementation exposure
General supply chain consultants without Manhattan TM depth
Recruiters or third-party vendor submissions

Engagement Details

Contract (1099 or C2C)
Remote with potential for limited travel
Competitive hourly rates based on experience
