Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Active WMS Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM). The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, and technical teams to deliver high-quality supply chain solutions across distribution and fulfillment environments.

This role is delivery-focused and suited for hands-on consultants with proven Manhattan Active project experience.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Solution Design

• Lead or support Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) implementations and upgrades

• Conduct requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design workshops

• Configure Manhattan Active modules including:

  • Inbound / Outbound

  • Inventory Management

  • Labor Management (if applicable)

  • Slotting, Wave Management, Yard (as applicable)

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations

Implementation & Delivery

• Configure MAWM using Manhattan Active configuration framework

• Support integrations with ERP, TMS, automation, and third-party systems

• Assist with test strategy, including:

  • Unit Testing

  • SIT

  • UAT

• Support cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization

Client & Team Collaboration

• Act as a subject matter expert for Manhattan Active WMS

• Partner with operations, IT, automation, and reporting teams

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants or client resources

• Participate in status reporting, issue resolution, and risk management

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Manhattan WMS experience

• 2+ years hands-on Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) implementation experience

• Strong understanding of distribution center operations (retail, e-commerce, 3PL, manufacturing, or pharma)

• Experience with:

  • Manhattan Active configuration

  • REST APIs / integrations (functional understanding)

  • Automation interfaces (conveyance, sortation, robotics preferred)

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-site rollouts

• Exposure to Manhattan Active upgrades or cloud deployments

• Prior experience with LMS, TMS, or DOM/MAO

• Consulting background with client-facing delivery responsibility

• Duration: 3–12 months (extensions possible)

• Location: Remote with travel as needed

• Start: ASAP or project-dependent

• Rate: Competitive, based on experience
