Manhattan WMS Consultant (Remote, Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manhattan WMS Consultant to lead and support the end-to-end implementation of Manhattan Active WMS. This role involves system design, configuration, integration, testing, and documentation. As a subject matter expert, you will provide strategic and hands-on expertise in warehouse management processes and integrations, particularly with ERP and MHE systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Manhattan Active WMS across design, configuration, integration, and testing phases.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for WMS processes and best practices.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define functional specifications and ensure alignment with operational needs.

• Manage system integrations with ERP (SAP/Oracle) and MHE/WCS systems.

• Conduct system and integration testing (SIT, E2E), oversee release management, and support go-live activities.

• Prepare detailed documentation and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system or process issues under tight timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS solutions.

• 23 years of direct experience with Manhattan Active WMS.

• Strong knowledge of Inbound/Outbound processes, ERP integration (SAP/Oracle), SQL, and APIs.

• Proven expertise in writing functional specifications, leading testing cycles (SIT, E2E), and managing releases.

• Familiarity with Supply Chain Intelligence tools and reporting solutions.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environments.

• Location: Fully remote with required travel (all expenses covered)
