Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client, one of Europe's largest resale platforms operating on several markets, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their hardworking team of like-minded conscious colleagues dedicated to reducing fashion industrys impact on the planet and promoting a less wasteful lifestyle.

As a Staff DevOps Engineer joining their dynamic team, you become crucial in sculpting their technological landscape. Your expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform deployments, automation, and networking, complemented by proficiency in Linux, harmonizes seamlessly with their team's skills. Collaborating closely, you'll contribute to the ongoing optimization of their infrastructure, implementation of top-notch security practices, and evolution of their CI/CD processes. Your adept understanding of Docker ensures efficient containerization and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

Design, Implement, and Manage Kubernetes Clusters: You'll be architecting, implementing, and overseeing Kubernetes clusters for optimal container orchestration.
Docker Implementation and Optimization: Lead the implementation and optimization of Docker, ensuring efficient containerization, deployment, and management processes within the infrastructure.
Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure Automation: Harness the power of Terraform for infrastructure as code, automating deployments, and ensuring consistency across the board.
Develop and Maintain Efficient CI/CD Pipelines: Craft and sustain high-performance CI/CD pipelines, guaranteeing code quality and enabling automated deployments.
Set up Monitoring and Logging Solutions: Support and enhance robust monitoring and logging solutions, ensuring their systems' ongoing health and performance.
Ensure Security Best Practices: Follow and apply best practices, safeguarding infrastructure and code deployments.
Create and Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for systems and processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Continuous Learning Initiative: Proactively engage in ongoing learning initiatives, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices. Demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for personal and professional growth to contribute to the team's ever-evolving expertise.

Skills & Experience:

Proven DevOps Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a seasoned DevOps Engineer, showcasing your proficiency in orchestrating complex systems.
Kubernetes and Terraform Mastery: Strong expertise in both Kubernetes and Terraform, with a track record of successful deployments and management.
CI/CD Proficiency: Experience in crafting and managing efficient CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the continuous integration and delivery of high-quality code.
Scripting Proficiency: Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and others, leveraging automation to streamline processes.
Unix-based Proficiency: Proficient in Unix-based systems, contributing to the stability and security of their infrastructure.
Networking Proficiency: Skilled in networking, ensuring seamless communication and connectivity within the infrastructure.
Docker Understanding: Good grasp of Docker, contributing to efficient containerization and deployment processes.
Troubleshooting Expertise: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, essential for maintaining robust and reliable systems.
Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with teams of diverse backgrounds.
