Store managers are in charge of overseeing every facet of running a retail establishment, making sure that every department is operating efficiently and providing a top-notch customer experience. Responsibilities
Management of People and Leadership
1. To guarantee a helpful and enjoyable experience for team members and visitors, establish and cultivate a courteous and inclusive team atmosphere and culture by embracing and celebrating differences.
2. Create a shop vision based on important KPIs and activities, and make sure that everyone in the team is aware of it.
3. To lead store operations, assemble a solid and varied team with personnel from a range of backgrounds, experiences, and skill sets.
4. Oversee the recruiting, selection, and onboarding procedures for the store while keeping an eye on IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and action) and other shop principles.
5. Provide direct feedback, coaching, mentorship, and career path direction to all store team members in order to consistently and fairly support their continued learning and development.
6. Lead and participate in career talks to help the team realize how sharing internal possibilities at the brand would advance their professional and personal development.
7. To encourage growth, reinforce the professional and personal development of your team, and address performance concerns, provide team member recognition, gap assessments, and overall performance reporting.
8. Schedule team members in accordance with labor needs, availability, and financial constraints.
9. Handle all employee relations concerns, and be aware of when to collaborate with the People and Culture (P&C) team to take the necessary measures.
Experience of Guests and Community
1. Provide technical product education, assist in-store transactions and omnichannel programs, assess guest needs, and support team members in order to guarantee a positive visitor experience.
2. Act as a proactive leader on the floor, determining and meeting the needs of the team, the business, and the visitors.
3. Handle urgent matters, such as requests for assistance in an emergency or guest escalation.
4. Build inclusive connections with partners and community influencers and make an effort to interact with a variety of community resources and initiatives in order to raise brand awareness and acceptability in the community.
5. Create and preserve local connections with sweat leaders, ambassadors, and other outside partners by locating, choosing, preparing, and assisting in the development of relationships with visitors and the team.
Collaborating with Others
1. Build positive, cooperative relationships with each team member in the shop and around the region.
2. Work together with the in-store staff to guarantee the best possible guest experience that respects customers' time and helps the business run smoothly.
3. Work together with other stores or regions on issues like product feedback, community, and conversion (e.g., regional and area calls with store service center [SSC] partners, with Regional Managers).
Activities
1. Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) of the entire store in compliance with the objectives (sales, budget, etc.).
2. Develop and carry out high-level quarterly and annual labor, budget, and strategy planning for the store (including hiring and training/development).
3. Oversee the floor plan and make choices that promote the efficacy and efficiency of floor activities.
4. To keep a safe workplace, be aware of and follow people safety regulations and procedures.
5. Execute tasks in compliance with relevant rules, guidelines, and legal or regulatory requirements.
Budget Responsibilities:
Responsible for labor hours, annual sales plan objective, and manageable budget
People Management:
A leadership position that is directly in charge of every employee in the store, with the option to assign some management duties.
