Job Responsibilities 

• Lead the execution and roll-out of the company's overseas expansion footprint from strategy, planing, management, local partnership to operations.
• Oversee and execute on the day-to-day operations of setting up the company's infrastructure in new jurisdictions, i.e., Vietnam, the Phillipines. 
• Manage and report on key drivers impacting top and bottom line performance of speed, efficiency, compliance leading up-to availability.
• Manage highly collaborative engagements with external service providers and internal stakeholders that will guarantee the success of expansion operations
• Perform valid and reliable market research while translating data into summaries and analysis with conclusions that deliver on objectives and support proactive insights and recommendations.
• Analysis of company's international expansion initiative including market sizing, competitive analysis, regulations, payments etc.
• Competitor monitoring
• Value-based pricing/margin analysis
• Develop roadmaps and timelines for regional expansion.
• Develop and unify launch plans across multiple teams, including partnerships, finance, marketing, the product, operations, and legal.
• Go from scout to scale and actually start things up.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing or related studies.
• MBA degree preferred.
• Over 5+ years experience in strategy, partnerships, business development for financial services sector. Direct experience with overseas expansion projects is highly preferred.
• A mixed background from top consulting firms and financial services is required.
• Experience with financial products such as title loans, insurance and microcredit lending is beneficial.
• Excellent English. 
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
• "Can do" attitude and a hands-on person.
