Job Duties

  • Match employee initiatives with business unit to achieve business goals within the company's Logistics arm.
  • Support line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to cover risks and facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees.
  • Initiate and manage overall employees' well-being to ensure sustainability commitment and productivity to achieve business goals.
  • Be a performance improvement driver and create positive changes in people management.
  • Review and ensure a conductive working environment and condition for employees to build employees' commitment and loyalty.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit structures, and workforce planning.
  • Design and maintain organisation vitality charts to improve performance of the business unit(s).
  • Analyse people trends and metrics in partnership with the business group to develop solutions, programs and policies.,
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations into employees' complaints as well as allegations against employees.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (eg, coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related fields.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in human resources, HR strategy and employee relations.
  • Background from logistics, freight, postal or blue collared industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience in learning & development as well as employment/labour law is preferred. 
  • Good English language skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Prioritisation and organisation skills.
