About the job Spa / Wellness Manager
- Staff management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of spa staff, including estheticians, massage therapists, and support personnel.
- Policy and procedure development: Creating and implementing spa policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Inventory management: Monitoring and managing spa / wellness inventory, supplies, and equipment, and coordinating with suppliers/vendors for procurement.
- Marketing and customer service: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and addressing customer inquiries and complaints.
- Facilities and safety management: Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Financial management: Managing spa budgets, financials, and reporting, including revenue generation, expense control, and profitability analysis.
- Training and development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for spa staff on spa services, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
- Industry knowledge: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, new treatments, and techniques, and implementing them in the spa to enhance services and customer experience.
- Client and stakeholder management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to promote the spa and enhance its reputation.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements related to operations, including health and safety regulations, labor laws, and licensing requirements.
