Responsibilities
- Laying down all aspects of human resources, people culture, compensation & benefits as well as employee development for the entire organisation.
- Support IPO initiatives for the groups subsidiaries.
- Advise group executive committee on HR and people affairs.
- Advising on Organisational Structure and Culture: Provide guidance to the management team on designing and establishing an effective organisational structure and fostering an organisation culture that aligns with the groups goals and values.
- People Team Strategy: Define the strategic direction of the People team to meet the business's specific requirements.
- HR Operations: Collaborate with management to address day-to-day HR operational issues, including employee relations, compensation reviews, benefits management, performance evaluations, and training programs.
- Business Literacy: Maintain a deep understanding of the groups goals, mission, financial position, strategy, competition, technology, and culture to make informed HR decisions.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Advise the People team on developing, revising, and implementing HRM (Human Resource Management) and HRD (Human Resource Development) policies and procedures.
- HR Projects: Provide guidance on human resource-related projects to ensure they align with the groups strategic objectives.
- People Roadmap: Plan and execute the People team's roadmap, including HR policies, recruitment strategies, training programs, performance evaluations, internship initiatives, organizational design, career development plans, team surveys, talent acquisition strategies, and groups branding efforts.
- Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy and planning that aligns with the groups goals and values.
- Values Alignment: Ensure that the organisation's core values are reflected in all people-oriented decisions and practices.
- Change Management: Lead and drive the change management process within the organisation to adapt to evolving needs and circumstances.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources, Psychology or other related studies.
- Over 10 years experience in all aspects of human resources. At least 3 years working in C-level or senior management position.
- A background with financial services industry is advantageous but not required.
- Professional English level is required.
- Previous experience in leading an HR team through the preparation and execution of an Initial Public Offering (IPO) is strongly required.
- Experience in managing HR teams within a public listed conglomerate/group of companies is strongly required.
- Experience in establishing and managing various stakeholder committees and supporting ExCom to facilitate communication and decision-making processes within the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in formulating and implementing corporate HR strategies & organisation culture that align with the overall direction of the group.
- Exceptional proficiency in designing organisational structures that is part of regulatory compliance requirements, i.e., SEC, BOT.
