Key Responsibilities
- Analyse spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies for spend reduction.
- Monitor working capital metrics to enhance liquidity and manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock.
- Leading the integration of order automation systems, streamline procurement processes and oversee contract management to ensure compliance with terms and negotiate favourable agreements.
- Establishing strong vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring a best-in-class digital procure-to-pay system with governance compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring that goods and supplies are purchased and delivered at the most competitive prices and are of the required quality.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain or relevant qualification.
- LLB - advantageous.
- Experience with major expansion projects and CAPEX projects.
- 8 - 12 years of total experience in procurement or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft excel.
