Our client, a boutique law firm, is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Consultant with a focus on the IT sector to join their team and provide support to clients on optimizing procurement strategies


As a Procurement Consultant with expertise in the IT industry, you will provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to their clients in managing and enhancing IT procurement processes. You will leverage your industry knowledge to deliver tailored solutions that drive efficiency, cost savings, and value for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in conducting spend analysis to deliver commercial insights and opportunities.
  • Works well in cross functional teams.
  • Advise clients on developing and implementing effective procurement strategies for IT products and services.
  • Conduct market research and analyse supplier performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Lead and manage procurement activities, including RFP processes, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their IT needs and align procurement strategies with their business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization in client procurement processes.
  • Ensure that client procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers and vendors to benefit client engagements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPP) are a plus.
  • 3-5 years in IT procurement, with a proven record of cost savings and process improvements. 
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
  • Experience advising on IT procurement strategies and aligning them with business goals.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research and analyze supplier performance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading procurement activities and driving cost reduction and process optimization.
  • Experience collaborating with clients to understand IT needs and manage supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in IT procurement.
