Position Overview:

The Company Secretary will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the companys operations remain in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. This role requires someone who can balance  company secretarial duties, compliance, and governance matters with a specific focus on the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice to the company on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business operations. 
  • Oversee company secretarial functions to ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage compliance and governance frameworks to align with best industry practices.
  • Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
  • Stay up to date with relevant mining laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Company Secretarial Qualification / LLB
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in a Company Secretarial, within the mining sector.
  • In-depth understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements in the mining industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
