CNC Programmer, Long Turning

Are you technically skilled and passionate about precision machining? We are looking for a CNC Programmer to take on challenging long-turning projects, programming and operating advanced CNC lathes to deliver high-quality components for international clients.

About the Job

Everything revolves around precision literally. This role focuses on long and slim turning, producing high-quality products for international customers. To support ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to strengthen our team.

Your role

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for independently programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes. You will work on large, long products (up to 5 meters in length and Ø300 mm in diameter) and ensure an efficient and high-quality production process.

What you will do

• Program and set up CNC lathes (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Vaghhor).

• Machine workpieces according to supplied drawings and specifications.

• Perform intermediate and final checks; complete measurement reports.

• Analyze and optimize machining sequences.

• Identify improvements and report them to the production manager.

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace and perform basic maintenance.

What we ask

• Technical vocational education in machining, metalworking, or a comparable field (equivalent to EQF level 3 / Dutch MBO level 3), or proven equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator/programmer in a production environment.

• Ability to independently program and set up CNC machines.

• Experience with long turning workpieces (minimum 5 meters) and diameters up to Ø300 mm.

• Experience working with tolerances up to 0.01 mm.

• Willingness to work in shifts.

• Accurate, quality-focused, and problem-solving mindset.
