Instrumentation Fitter (Netherlands)
We are currently looking for experienced Instrumentation Fitters to join our team for diverse projects and long-term positions across the Netherlands.
Role scope
As an Instrumentation Fitter you install, connect and maintain piping and devices for measurement and control systems in industrial environments. You work based on drawings, P&IDs and safety regulations to ensure instruments are correctly mounted and tested.
Main Responsibilities
You install pressure, level, temperature and flow instruments
You route and connect impulse tubing (stainless steel) and fittings
You mount instrument supports and brackets according to specs
You support calibration and loop testing activities on site
You read P&IDs, loop diagrams and isometric drawings
You perform leak tests and preventive maintenance on instrument lines
You follow strict safety standards, work permits and procedures (LOTO, site rules)
Must-Have Requirements
Proven experience as Instrumentation Fitter in industrial environments (plant, refinery, chemical or energy)
Skilled in tubing, impulse lines and instrument mounting
Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams and isometric drawings
VCA (SCC) required for NL projects
Basic English communication skills
Nice-to-Have
Swagelok / tubing certification
ATEX awareness
Basic calibration knowledge (calibration is usually performed by E&I Technicians if instruments are not factory-calibrated)
