Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operation, availability, and performance of critical systems and platforms.

• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL practices.

• Coordinate with infrastructure, development, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues.

• Maintain system security, continuity, and compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.

• Oversee physical datacenters and virtual environments.

• Implement and monitor system maintenance, patching, hardening, and updates.

• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.

• Support backup and recovery processes to guarantee data integrity and availability.

• Assist in planning and deploying system upgrades, migrations, and new services.

You'll be a great match if you have:

• achelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (required).

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft and/or Linux systems administration.

• Proven experience managing critical platforms, incident handling, and ITIL practices.

• Strong knowledge of networking, security, storage, and services such as DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and scripting tools (sh, awk, sed, Perl).

• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (Avamar, Veeam).

• Ability to manage patching, hardening, updates, and security policies.

• Familiarity with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR.
