AS400 Architect

What you will do:

• Design and maintain IBM i architectures and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance on RPG, CL, COBOL, DB2, and APIs.
• Optimize system performance, security, and reliability.
• Lead modernization initiatives including APIs and cloud integration.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders for solution delivery.

You will be a great match if you have:

• 7+ years of experience with IBM i / AS400 / iSeries.
• Strong expertise in RPG, CL, COBOL, DB2, SQL, and CLLE.
• Proven experience in modernization projects (APIs, web services, .NET/Java integration, SQL enhancements).
• Deep knowledge of system configuration, performance tuning, and IBM i security.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools for IBM i (e.g., Jenkins, Git, RDi).
• Excellent analytical, architectural, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills with experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
