Senior .NET + GIS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+)

• Develop and integrate GIS-based solutions using platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and geospatial web services (WMS, WFS, etc.)

• Work with spatial databases such as PostGIS, Microsoft SQL Server (Spatial), or Oracle Spatial

• Develop interactive maps using JavaScript mapping libraries such as Leaflet or OpenLayers

• Perform spatial data analysis, geoprocessing, and coordinate transformations

• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability of GIS services

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, GIS analysts, and DevOps

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation

You'll be a great match if you have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in .GIS development

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core / .NET 6+

• Solid understanding of GIS concepts (projections, coordinate systems, spatial indexing, geoprocessing)

• Experience working with geospatial APIs and map services

• Hands-on experience with spatial databases and SQL tuning

• Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus

• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
