Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for payment flows, voucher systems, and fraud detection mechanisms.
• Own the full lifecycle of the components you develop from coding and testing to deployment and production support.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and safe delivery of features.
• Work with Kotlin and Java in a microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes.
• Implement asynchronous communication using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, product, and security to evolve the commerce platform.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin or Java, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native deployments.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Strong skills in testing, monitoring, and production support of critical systems.
• Comfort owning features end-to-end, from development to live operations.
