Senior MES Specialist

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and optimize the MES platform (Parsec) to support production processes and real-time shop floor reporting.
• Monitor platform performance, ensure stable data collection, and manage machine data integrations and system interfaces (e.g., ERP).
• Drive platform development through the RFC process: challenge business priorities, specify and test changes, create documentation, and ensure knowledge transfer to support teams.
• Provide technical support, manage recurring incidents, and ensure problem management in line with agreed IT processes.
• Support the development of OT applications and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams on new initiatives.
• Ensure cost optimization, adherence to standard processes (vendor or company-defined), and compliance with internal IT governance frameworks.
• Act as a proactive business partner, translating business needs into practical MES solutions and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in IT, Engineering, or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of specialist experience with MES platforms (experience with Parsec is a strong plus).
• Experience in international and cross-border environments, with exposure to project-based work.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, business operations, and system integrations.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and quality-focused approach.
• Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and QA processes is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to train stakeholders and mentor junior specialists is a plus.
• Result-, customer-, and cost-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
