Job Description: Carpenter

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will handle a wide range of construction tasks including framing, finishing, installations, and general carpentry while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship and strict adherence to safety standards. This role works closely with superintendents, project managers, and other field personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently and with excellence.

Pay Range: $25$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Carpentry & Construction Tasks

• Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim work, doors, windows, and hardware installation.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Measure, cut, and install building materials with accuracy and precision.

• Construct, install, and repair structures and components made of wood, metal, and other materials.

• Assist with concrete forms, layout, blocking, and other general building tasks.

Site Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load, unload, and stage materials and equipment on the jobsite.

• Support other trades and team members as needed.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and industry best practices.

• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.

• Identify potential hazards and report issues to the superintendent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry experience (commercial, industrial, or residential).

• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documentation.

• Proficiency with carpentry tools, equipment, and measurement devices.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
