About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC system design to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, documenting, and supporting the implementation of HVAC systems across a variety of construction and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, or residential construction projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
  • Assist in the development and submission of tender application forms, including all technical documentation required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, project managers, and site engineers to ensure design integrity and compliance.
  • Conduct calculations for load requirements, equipment sizing, and airflow distribution.
  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and engineering reports to ensure consistency with design goals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with relevant HVAC industry standards, codes, and technological advancements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HVAC system design, preferably with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential; experience using AutoCAD for HVAC design is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, systems, equipment, and components.
  • Experience in preparing and completing tender applications and bid documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in technical documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
