PROCUREMENT SOURCING SPECIALIST

Department: Procurement Operations

Reporting to: Procurement Operations Lead

ROLE SUMMARY

The Procurement Sourcing Specialist is responsible for delivering tactical procurement and sourcing activities

within the organisation. The role focuses on managing sourcing requests, executing RFX processes, negotiating

with suppliers, and supporting the end-to-end contract lifecycle. The position works closely with internal

stakeholders and category management teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and value creation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute tactical procurement and sourcing activities

Clarify sourcing requests and confirm specifications with stakeholders

Apply sourcing strategies and conduct RFX processes (RFQ, RFP, RFI)

Prepare supplier longlists and shortlists aligned to category strategies

Manage supplier negotiations and support awarding decisions

Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts

Monitor contract usage, expiry dates, and renewals

Maintain accurate supplier and contract data in ERP systems

Support procurement KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives

Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement or sourcing

Experience in tactical sourcing and supplier negotiations

Exposure to international or multi-site procurement environments (advantageous)

Familiarity with warehouse or raw material management (advantageous)

Understanding of legal and regulatory procurement requirements

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Professional working proficiency in English

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Power BI advantageous)

SAP MM experience; SAP Ariba knowledge is beneficial

Team-oriented with strong organisational skills
