Sales Executive (Premium Vehicle Brand) – East London
Position: Sales Executive (New & Pre-Owned Vehicles)
Location: East London, Eastern Cape
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Basic Salary of R8,500 per month (Negotiable) plus an attractive commission structure.
About the Opportunity
A well-established premium vehicle dealership in East London is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling both new and pre-owned vehicles, identifying customer needs, and cross-selling across the dealership's vehicle range to maximise sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell both new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Cross-sell customers between new and used vehicle departments based on their requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Generate new business through networking, referrals and prospecting.
- Conduct professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery.
- Negotiate sales agreements while maintaining dealership profitability.
- Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets.
- Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Maintain a high level of customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Keep accurate records using the dealership CRM system.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, finance options and industry developments.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous vehicle sales experience will be advantageous.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a professional approach.
- Self-motivated and target driven.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Computer literacy and experience using CRM systems will be advantageous.
- Well presented with a passion for the motor industry.
