About the Role:

The Administration Assistant collaborates with Audit Partners, Managers, and the Executive Assistant (EA)/Personnel Assistant (PA) team to support the preparation of templates and administrative tasks.

The role focuses on supporting the Melbourne Audit team to prepare and pre-populate templates (including work processing documents in Microsoft Word) and assisting with the performance of administrative tasks, including conflict & independence checks.

Core Duties

Attend recurring Melbourne EA/PA meetings to participate and support with administrative tasks delegated including:

  • Drafting, using the prescribed templates, for review:
    • Engagement letters

    • Audit plans

    • Completion reports

    • Audit reports & independence declarations

    • Management representation letters

    • Audit proposals

    • Attach Partner signatures and perform final formatting review of documents
  • Assisting the EA/PA team to:
    • Roll prior year budget templates for manager input

    • Set up matter codes

    • Prepare conflict & independence checks (including requesting necessary documentation)

Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role in Professional Services

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships

  • A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Compliance

  • Accurate and timely completion of daily timesheets.

  • Availability during business hours (as agreed)

  • Adherence to BDO Independence & Risk requirements and procedures in accordance with BDO policy.

  • Adherence to the BDO Code of Conduct.


Work Set Up:

  • On-Site

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
