Job details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our growing
team. This role will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including Accounts
Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and monthly financial reporting. The ideal
candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, and a proficiency in accounting software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices, including data entry, matching with purchase orders, and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks and electronic
    transfers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Prepare and send customer invoices.
  • Monitor customer accounts for timely payments.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions.
  • Assist with credit and collections activities as needed.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations as required.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process.

Other Duties:

  • Assist with special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, with experience in AP, AR, and month-end closing preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other
    advanced functions)
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
