Assistant Manager - Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our shipping and logistics company.
• The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry with
• a strong background in freight forwarding. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for
• managing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations, including overseeing shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information and addressing any concerns or complaints.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and increase efficiency.
• Manage and train staff to ensure that they meet performance expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a strong background in freight forwarding.
3. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
