Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our shipping and logistics company.
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry with
- a strong background in freight forwarding. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for
- managing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, including overseeing shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information and addressing any concerns or complaints.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and increase efficiency.
- Manage and train staff to ensure that they meet performance expectations and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a strong background in freight forwarding.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
