Job Description: As the General Manager of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our organization's Loco Leasing, Railway Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Railway Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Works business lines. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and leading the development and execution of business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the business development strategy for Loco Leasing, Railway O&M, and Railway EPC Works in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and analyzing industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including railway authorities, government agencies, contractors, consultants, and industry partners.
  4. Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients, highlighting the organization's capabilities, value proposition, and competitive advantages.
  5. Negotiate and finalize business agreements, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  7. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  8. Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base through effective lead generation, customer acquisition, and relationship management.
  9. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and promote business opportunities.
  10. Monitor and track project progress, financial performance, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  11. Stay updated on the latest technological advancements, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in Loco Leasing, Railway O&M,and Railway EPC Works.
  12. Mentor and guide the business development team, providing coaching, support, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
