Job Description: As the General Manager of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our organization's Loco Leasing, Railway Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Railway Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Works business lines. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and leading the development and execution of business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the business development strategy for Loco Leasing, Railway O&M, and Railway EPC Works in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and analyzing industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including railway authorities, government agencies, contractors, consultants, and industry partners.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients, highlighting the organization's capabilities, value proposition, and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate and finalize business agreements, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base through effective lead generation, customer acquisition, and relationship management.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and promote business opportunities.
- Monitor and track project progress, financial performance, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in Loco Leasing, Railway O&M,and Railway EPC Works.
- Mentor and guide the business development team, providing coaching, support, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
