About the job Deli Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the deli section, including food preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Train and supervise deli staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
- Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of labor resources.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, order supplies as needed, and ensure that the deli section is properly stocked at all times.
- Monitor and track deli section sales and performance, providing regular reports to the management team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working in a deli or food service setting, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
