Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the deli section, including food preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Train and supervise deli staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of labor resources.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, order supplies as needed, and ensure that the deli section is properly stocked at all times.
  • Monitor and track deli section sales and performance, providing regular reports to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a deli or food service setting, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
