Role summary
The Marketing Specialist will manage social media accounts and paid advertising to grow brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. The role focuses on implementing marketing strategies, setting up and optimizing sponsored ad campaigns, tracking performance, and coordinating with internal teams for creative assets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute social media and paid advertising strategies across relevant platforms.
- Set up, monitor, and optimize sponsored ad campaigns to meet KPIs (awareness, traffic, leads, conversions).
- Schedule and manage social media content calendars; ensure consistent posting and audience engagement.
- Analyze campaign and channel performance using analytics tools and produce regular performance reports.
- Recommend targeting, budgeting, bidding, and creative improvements based on data.
- Coordinate with design and content teams to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
- Respond to audience interactions, escalate issues when needed, and maintain brand voice.
- Stay current with platform changes, ad policies, and industry trends to inform strategy.
Required qualifications and experience
- Minimum 2–3 years' proven experience in marketing with direct responsibility for paid advertising and social media management.
- Experience must be post-graduate level; recent graduates without relevant work experience need not apply.
- Demonstrated history of planning and executing sponsored ad campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or Google Ads.
- Strong track record of meeting campaign KPIs and improving performance through optimization.
Skills and competencies
- Practical knowledge of paid ad platforms and campaign management tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads).
- Solid understanding of marketing strategy, audience segmentation, and funnel optimization.
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and present clear recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Team player with the ability to coordinate effectively with design and content teams.
Desirable
- Experience in the company's industry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Basic understanding of A/B testing and conversion tracking.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on marketing experience (not suitable for recent graduates).
- Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and paid media strategies.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing plans.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or similar platforms.
- Experience with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.
