About the job Operations Supervisor
1. BASIC FUNCTION & SCOPE:
. Understand, update and execute the scope of work for each and every customer, addressing their needs and expectations.
. Plan, supervise and coordinate the deployment of vehicles, equipment and workforce within budgetary guidelines, statutory requirements and Nidukki procedures.
. Ensure operations comply with Nidukki HSEQ policies, client and legal requirements.
2. WORK PREFORMED:
A. OPERATIONAL PLANNING AND SUPERVISION:
. Review and understand all existing and new Service Requests (SRFs) to grasp customer requirements and scope of work.
. Develop and supervise deployment plans for vehicles, equipment and manpower for waste collection and transportation.
. Schedule daily and weekly routes, considering traffic patterns and identifying alternative routes or innovation methods to optimize efficiency.
. Monitor and update operational statuses using functional systems (e.g., FAME) to ensure orders are completed or rescheduled as needed.
B. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION:
. Record and address customer complaints within the scope of authority or escalate as required.
. Maintain regular communication with the HSEQ department to report complaint resolution outcomes.
. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
C. COMPLIANCE AND SAFETY:
. Ensure all operations comply with Bahrains applicable legislation, including MOL and SCE regulations, as well as Nidukki procedures and policies.
. Conduct daily toolbox talks to communicate safety updates, operational instructions and applicable regulations to employees.
. Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify and address operational issues.
D. VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT:
. Report maintenance and repair needs for vehicles and equipment to the workshop and liaise with workshop supervisors regarding repairs.
. Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and maintain records of operational capabilities.
. Ensure vehicles and equipment are utilized safely and efficiently within operational budgets.
E. RECORD MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING:
. Maintain organized records for vehicles, schedules, completed orders and operational databases.
. Ensure all work orders are filled out with necessary details, acknowledged by clients and submitted to the Administrator on time.
Prepare and submit operational reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), progress updates and performance metrics, as requested by management.
F. TEAM LEADERSHIP:
. Supervise department drivers, helpers and operators, ensuring adherence to operational and safety standards.
. Train and guide team members to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with company policies.

4. SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
. Departments Heavy Duty Drivers, Light Duty Drivers, Helpers & Operators.
5. POST REQUIREMENTS
A. Education
. Bachelor degree in Business & administrative or equivalent.
. Good knowledge in computer, software and MS office are must.
B. Related Experience
. Minimum three years in transportation field or similar.
. Waste management related fields is advantage.

. 70% Office & 30% Site
