Salesman

DESCRIPTION: The Retail Salesman is responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, handling billing, maintaining shelf display, and ensuring a positive shopping experience inside the store.

REQUIREMENTS: Basic communication skills (English/Arabic preferred). Customer service mindset. Ability to work in shifts and stand for long hours. Basic math and billing knowledge. Teamwork and discipline. Prior retail or supermarket experience is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet customers and assist them in finding products. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable items. Handle cash, card, and POS transactions accurately. Maintain product display, shelf arrangement, and price tags. Refill stock and monitor fast-moving and low-stock items. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor. Check product expiry dates and remove damaged items. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed. Follow store policies, safety standards, and hygiene rules. Support inventory counting and stock audits when required.
