Trailer Driver, BLS - Beverages

Reporting line:

• Reporting to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Complete the delivery on time for each order, stating details such as the customer, product required, quantity, and address.
• Plan and follow the best route to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare orders to the destination by following and cross-checking the information provided in HHT (Handheld Terminal) and Mobile.
• Deposit all collected cash with the Cashier cum Administrator each day, ensuring that the cash collected reconciles with authorised delivery details.
• Report information such as sales volumes, location of deliveries, customers seen, stock status, and cash collected.
• Adhere to all the Policies and Procedures to ensure the ability to carry out any required daily duties, from dusting and packing bags to understanding the electronic point-of-sale system.
• Maintain knowledge of the products stocked to be able to answer customer queries.
• Maintain an understanding of service standards to ensure good customer service.
• Contribute to the team and Department targets by committing to achieve set goals.
• Ensure that all goods and materials are properly secured during transport.
• May be required to carry out ad hoc duties for the company within the scope of their skills and experience.

Your profile:

• High school diploma.
• Fluency in spoken and written English, with Arabic skills an added advantage.

Years of experience and other skills:

• 2-4 years experience in driving trailers in Bahrain.
• Experience in a warehousing company would be an added advantage.
• Bahraini Heavy Driving License for Trailer and Tanker.
