Responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with quality standards, monitoring production
processes, identifying non-conformities, performing root cause analysis, coordinating corrective actions, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and
industry standards.

Primary objective

to ensure that products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements, while continuously improving systems to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Working hours

Usually work is around 48 hours a week, starting early morning. You may have to work overtime during evenings, nights and weekends and may have to report to different sites and perform duties accordingly.

Summary of Main Duties

role of QA (Quality Assurance)

1.process Development: QA focuses on developing and establishing processes that enhance project delivery. This includes creating procedures for design, construction, procurement, and maintenance.

2. Standards Compliance: Ensures that the infrastructure meets national and international standards and regulations.
3. Project Planning: QA involves planning how quality will be managed throughout the
project lifecycle. This includes defining quality objectives and identifying key
performance indicators (KPls).
4. Documentation: Establishing a robust documentation system to record quality activities, decisions, and outcomes. Proper documentation supports traceability and accountability.
5. Training and Education: Promoting a culture of quality by training personnel involved in the project. Educating teams on standards, procedures, and best practices is crucial for maintaining quality.
6. Continuous Improvement: Implementing a feedback loop to learn from past projects.
This includes assessing what went well and what did not, helping to continuously
improve processes and outcomes.
7. Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks associated with quality throughout the project. This includes analyzing potential failure points and developing mitigation
strategies.

Qualification Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
2. Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
3. Experience in QA/QC processes and inspections
4. Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., 5S, FMEA, CAPA)
5. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
6. Relevant certification (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, CQE) - preferred
7. Good communication and documentation skills
