About the job purchasing officer

We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team who

has prior experience in Food & Beverage Industry. In this role, you will support the

procurement function by sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure

timely purchase of goods vital to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

-Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and submit purchase

agreements to the Purchasing Manager.

-Travel to different branches as needed for deliveries or procurement activities.

-Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.

-Research potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing to support cost saving initiatives.

-Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts and supplier agreements.

-Monitor inventory levels and support reordering to maintain optimal stock levels.

-Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.

-Coordinate with finance, operations, and other departments to align procurement needs.

-Resolve order, delivery, or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.

-Contribute to identifying cost saving opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

-Male candidate with prior procurement experience in F&B (fast food) industry.

-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).

-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

-Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.

-Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

-Flexibility to travel to multiple locations as required
