Job Summary
The BIM Modeler will provide drafting and modeling support to project teams. The BIM Modeler will provide CAD drafting, BIM modeling and design support. He/she will create Revit families and CAD blocks. The BIM Modeler must have the necessary working knowledge of project guidelines, processes and techniques to BIM projects profitably, meeting the time, resources and budget objectives of the project. Responsibilities:
1.1
Extensive Revit and AutoCAD MEP experience and preferably have a good understanding of Electrical and ELV Building Services Engineering and experience working in building services environment to take ownership of individual projects and be responsible for their delivery from a commercial, quality and timescale perspective.
1.2
Modelling of MEP drawings and presenting it for review and approval.
1.3
Manual drafting of sketches, plan for study purpose, if so required.
1.4
Ensure consistent and standardised use of symbols and abbreviations.
1.5
Ensure uniformity on drafting practice. Help to evolve MSCEB standards for all disciplines.
1.6
Compile drafting standards. Maintain library of standard details.
1.7
Familiarize yourself with all aspects of the computer aided drafting, using the latest versions of AutoCAD/ Revit.
1.8
Understand Architects/Engineers input in the drawing and design. Develop the drawing accordingly.
1.9
Develop details, sections and elevations.
1.10
Assist the Engineer/Architect for supervision, checking of installation, if specifically asked for. Further review of material submittals, checking and comment on shop drawings if required.
1.11
In case there involves work performed by consultant, checking of drawings submitted for accuracy.
1.12
Record Keeping of Documents/Drawings: Store, maintain and update previous project files and drawings. Arrange the records for ease of retrieval and reference.
1.13
Advance Computer Aided Drafting Applications: 3D modeling, rendering, use of Power Point presentation program, customizing of Auto-CAD, Revit, assistance to other fellow CAD Technicians for solving computer related problems. Skills Required

Well versed with design skills and knowledge.
1.2.
Timely and accurate preparation of models, shop drawings, etc.
1.3.
Demonstrate a deep interest in learning new skills and knowledge
1.4.
Positive attitude towards collaboration and knowledge sharing
1.5.
Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
1.6.
Knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software
1.7.
Be thorough and pay attention to details communicated.
1.8.
Excellent communication & presentation skills. Required Qualifications
1.1.
Diploma in Engineering. Further Bachelors degree is an added advantage.
1.2.
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) Certification is added advantage. Required Experience
1.1
B2 (8+), B1 (5+) Years of Revit MEP experience and AutoCAD experience.
